Pro Kabaddi which is one of the most popular league in India’s sporting events, is all set to start its 5th season from the next month. But it looks like the organizers are bit confused on when to start the tournament which will continue for next 3 months.
This confusion started with a tweet from the official tweeter handler of Pro Kabaddi. The organizer from the account has tweeted,
“Action-packed panga will take center stage as #VivoProKabaddi gets set to begin from October 7th! Catch 12 teams fight it out on the mat for 1 glistening, only on @StarSportsIndia!”
This tweet clearly says that the league will start on 7th October, but earlier Pro Kabaddi informed that the league will start on 5th October. This 2 day postpone of the match will make the whole timetable reshuffle.
This is the second time that the timetable is changing as the Pune leg Of the PKL was supposed to start on 19th October which has been preponed to 18th October.
Pro Kabaddi is a prestigious league in India and such mismanagement is diluting its reputation. The PKL started in 2014 with 8 teams and since last year, 4 new teams have been included in this tournament. Not just Indians but players from Afghanistan and Korea also show their kabaddi skills on the mat of PKL.
